Additionally, Secretary Nielsen has testified to me under oath that further physical barriers are needed to combat the drug epidemic plaguing our country. That's why I voted today to uphold President Trump’s national emergency and his effort to secure the southern border.

Haven't we been over this? The vast, vast preponderance of drugs come through legal ports of entry. I know you're just parroting partisan talking points, but man, it makes you look really uneducated and ignorant of reality.

Sure, some drugs do come over the border between the legal entry points. And sure, some barriers would probably cut down on that... But your focus on physical barriers, to the exclusion of any other common sense, effective measures, is a complete abdication of your job.
