Congrats on giving up Congress's position as a co-equal branch of government. You're bowing to the new King of the GOP... just like the Founding Fathers intended. All your 'Constitutionalist' supporters must be so proud.

"Good faith" effort is a laughable statement. He rejected the bipartisan compromise by declaring his fake emergency. If you're honestly concerned about the humanitarian crisis...well, a wall won't fix that. Infrastructure and beefing up the courts will.

Your vote and your statement serve as glaring proof of your ignorance and disrespect for checks & balances and the roles of the branches of govmt. It also clearly demonstrates your willingness to propagate lies and mislead your constituents. Thankfully some of us know better.

Thank you. The board is a national emergency, it has to be controlled. Then we need to address millions of IDs & SS# stole by illegals. Even new issue numbers are coming with debt. People are running into up to 80 people using their SS#. Most won't know till it's to late.

"Emergency" means there's imminent threat of loss of life or property that Congress hasn't had time to debate & act on. Congress, rightly or wrongly, has debated ad-nauseum and chosen not to act, therefore there's no "emergency".
