I appeared on @MSNBC with Hallie Jackson to talk tax reform and why I am voting against the bill, today. The changes to the SALT deduction are not enough to protect New York families.pic.twitter.com/nkLXsjX2QF

Faso has no influence w/the GOP to protect NY'ers. Faso is impotent on taxes. He can't stop his own party from raising our taxes. Mumbling John has to be replaced with a Lion who will roar in defense of #NY19 #FireFaso

In fairness to John, the party bosses' attitude toward freshmen congressmen is basically to tell them to go sit quietly and color. As long as they had enough votes without John, they couldn't care less about his opinion.

I live in his district. He's been consistently unavailable to his constituents and this no vote is a hope to regain favor in his district. It's not working. #RepealAndReplaceFaso We'll see you in 2018.

I gave you time to come around. I wont be helping you campaign in 2018 like 2016. This is a opportunity to start educating the voters in NY how State and Local taxes crush them and to maybe spark a fiscal resurgence, guess not. Enjoy next year, you loss the seat in 2018.

Congressman faso, I'm in your district, I've crunched the numbers, I will be lucky if I break even thru 2025, and then I will lose money. I don't care that you are voting no. When it passes, you play for that team. I will do more than I have ever done to see you out in 2018.

I agree on some levels with you but it is NY State's own fault like California for having some of the highest taxes in the nation. In addition, NY and CA did not vote for Trump nor is even a 'purple' state so why would they bend backwards for it. Good Luck, but it looks to pass.
