Chris Krebs told the truth. He worked to protect and defend our American democracy. And he was fired for it. This should not — and cannot — be how things are done in America.

Firefighting crews have had our backs throughout an incredibly long and challenging wildfire season. It is critical that we have their backs, and provide the resources and funding they need to continue their work.

This year’s wildfire season 🔥🔥🔥 has been brutal. And as the season moves later into the year, it is critical our contracts with hotshot fire-fighting crews are extended as well. Our letter with to DOI & USDA is an important first step to making that happen!

The opioid epidemic has taken far too many lives. And yet the current deal between the Department of Justice and Purdue Pharma would not result in justice for those who have been hurt. Proud to join ’s letter below imploring the DOJ to hold them fully accountable.

We live in a democracy. Every vote is sacred, and every vote must be counted. And contrary to the President’s reckless and dangerous statements, that is not “rigging” or “corrupting” the election — it is how our democracy works.
