The ACA is a 3-legged stool: --Insurance companies can't deny anyone or charge sick people more --everyone has to participate, healthy or not --low-income families who can't pay their full premium get a subsidy trump's removal of that second leg was a deliberate act of sabotage.

Funny how many people had a problem with that. YOU HAVE TO HAVE CAR INSURANCE, but you don't want to be forced to have health insurance. Then you get sick, and presto you're either bankrupt or the rest of us have to pay for your non stop visits to the ER and increased premiums.

And in the worst case, as with a cousin before the ACA, ER visits aren't enough. While she was dying of cancer, not only couldn't she get treatment, she couldn't even get her pain managed.

That's awful. If your cousin didn't have insurance, and only used the ER, I wonder if she missed out on preventive measures, screenings, etc., that could have detected her condition before it became terminal;.

Probably. I don't know how far along it was when it was first discovered, but there were no real efforts made to beat it. In contrast, my wife survived her breast cancer because our insurance allowed us to catch it early and they did everything necessary without question.

So at this point Trump just says whatever he wants and his followers just believe it. I just don’t understand how so many people can be so absolutely blind and deaf or so completely willing to not care the President is a liar. #VoteBlue2018
