To improve military readiness, I introduced an amendment to allow qualified immigrants to enlist & patriotically serve in the U.S. military. Their strategically valuable language & cultural skills, & desire to serve, would improve readiness shortfalls.

After honorably and patriotically serving the only country they’ve ever known, these individuals would be eligible to adjust their legal status.

I successfully incorporated #FY19NDAA amendment to explore expanding @Hacking4Defense in support of DOD innovation and entrepreneurial education opportunities. @Hacking4Defense programs benefit overall professional education, including at @NPS_Monterey, @NDU_EDU, & @DAUNow.
