Armenia's only chance to stop this is to sign the peace deal where it recognizes Azerbaijan's international borders thereby forcing Azerbaijan to do the same
So far the hotheads on both sides are in charge which will not end well for Armenia as it has already lost militarily

The Armenian diaspora has consistently been more hardline than Armenians within Armenia and called for military solutions when there are none because they are safe, far away from the fighting
