Today my staff attended a naturalization ceremony and welcomed 46 new citizens to our country. These citizens went through the process of legally immigrating to the United States, and I congratulate them on their hard work to join the rich history of America.pic.twitter.com/t1EKbM2t7g

Did you know coming across the border and declaring asylum is part of the legal process! Too bad POTUS your buddy have ordered military to shoot ppl coming across the border if they look bad and throw stones at armor vehicles.

Nobody ever gets hurt by someone throwing rocks, right? If they want asylum they should present themselves at a port of entry, not sneak in and then claim "asylum "when they get caught. Besides they admit they are econominc migrants, not "asylum" seekers.https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-5100891/Border-Patrol-agent-killed-rock-throwers-ambush.html …

I wonder how many asked for asylum first? That’s exactly what the migrants coming from Central America want...asylum...not illegally entering.

Just a reminder, Asylum is legal immigration and a human right.

Coming for a job does not legally qualify you for asylum.

I agree, if that is the only reason you are coming you can and should be returned to your home country. Give these people a hearing in front of an immigration judge and let them argue their case. That's all anyone is asking.

Just wondering. Do you think they should come through a legal port of entry?

        1. The law doesn't currently require they come through a point of entry. 2. If the reports are true of being illegally denied entry at the ports when requesting asylum, then I support them doing what they need to do to cross the boarder.

Staff attended. Nice, we are confident you were too busy sucking up to your donors to personally be there. Send the underpaid staff instead. Your Banks briefing email was all accomplishments, that every US Rep does-anyway. 2 years, you have proven to be Tumps lap dog. #GOPTool

Legal immigrants have always been welcome. Illegal alien invaders are not. This is not a subtle distinction.
