    The Trump Admin knew it couldn’t reunite separated families. More than a year since the end of this cruel policy, they have failed to reunite hundreds of children with their families. This incompetence and cruelty is unforgivable!

    When Trump’s family separation policy eventually ended, the lack of planning, coordination and capacity was made clear. It is because of such total incompetence and disregard for human life that hundreds of children remain separated today and may never see their parents again.

    With no real plan to reunite parents and children, it is no surprise that some children and parents are yet to be reunited. Many never will be. President Trump is responsible for every inch of that cruel practice. Not Obama. Not “coyotes.”  Donald Trump.

    In 2017, ran a pilot program separating families on a smaller scale. They learned that they were unable to track separated family members. They expanded the policy nationwide anyway.

    Last night, Pres Trump refused to take responsibility for his inhumane family separation policy. But Trump’s cruelty was premeditated. The Trump Admin was obsessed w/ separating children from their parents, and began formulating plans in Feb 2017—days after Trump was inaugurated.
