Hey bud. We can all agree vandalism is bad. However, *none* of that excuses the authoritarian liberties that are being taken by the federal government right now. If your neighbor is a drug dealer that doesn’t mean the government can burn down your entire block.

American leadership reacted to 9/11 with fear, which unfortunately also reflected the mindset of many citizens. That fear drove them to create the Dept. of Homeland Security, and to pass the Patriot Act and the Iraq War Resolution. Each of these actions has been disastrous.

It's time to regain our footing as a nation that values the Constitution over the quest for security, since whatever security we gain in the trade-off would eventually be turned against us by leaders such as Trump, as we are now seeing unfold in Portland and across the nation.

Confirmed by NYPD as their people. Seems like they claim this person smashed some of their security cameras downtown. Maybe I’m missing something but haven’t they and Barr been screaming about violent crime? 5-10 cops using snatch and grab ISIS moves for a camera vandal?
