Probably an unconstitutional bill of attainder and in violation of due process/equal protection as well. You can’t target specific persons with punitive legislation. For people who supposedly love the Constitution so much, it doesn’t seem like they actually read it

Jeff, their stance has nothing to do w/ID's. It has to do w/the ludicrous other things. No food or water in lines. Reducing the number of ballot boxes. The insane restrictions on absentee ballot requests. Those are all maneuvers to suppress minority voters. Good on them #MLB

The law does not make it illegal to have food and water in the polling line. It makes it illegal for a campaign or campaign supporter to provide it. IOW, no "Vote for X" water bottles. The poll workers are free to supply campaign-neutral food & water.
