Today marks a year since George Floyd was murdered. My heart is with his family — and all Black and Brown families who have had a loved one taken from them by the police.
George Floyd's life mattered. Let's honor it with action — organizing to end police brutality.

A first transformative step is finally passing the George Floyd Justice in Policing Act, and sending it to the President's desk.
Then, we must continue the urgent work in communities all across America to end racism, anti-Blackness, and police brutality. We owe it to his memory.

I cried the first few times I watched that video.... I watched the whole trial from beginning to end, it was heartbreaking... Heading him BEG for his life... I couldn't handle it, I would have jumped in to help, I would have been arrested but he would have lived!

The work isn’t done until those that cover up crimes are brought to justice too. Never forget that the official police statement on George Floyd was that he had a medical event. Protecting murders cannot be part of police protocol.
