My taxes went up, and unlike you, I live in #MN02

Address it with governor Dayton and the spenders in MN
#mn02 -
I’m addressing it with the member of the US House that passed the law that raised my taxes
-
If it did raise your taxes it is because Minnesota is a high-tax state. So tell Dayton and State pols to lower spending and cut state tax rate
-
I don’t believe in trickle down economics
-
Liberals call it tricke down, others call it prosperity for all. Free stuff is not really free. Someone has to pay for it!
-
We seem to have a difference in philosophy. You believe the less fortunate will be helped by the dint of the free market. I want to ensure the less fortunate are taken care of by rule of law.
-
America gives the less fortunate the ability to be more fortunate. By the rule of law, you mean legislate to take away from those that have and give to those that don’t. Sounds like Marxism to me.

If 1 person gets $100 and 9 get a dollar the average is just over $10. What's the median?
-
So we shouldn’t be allowed to keep more of OUR money? It does not belong to government. If you want to “Watch Your Reps” you should watch those that want to take our property
#mn02 -
I don't understand why Republicans always frame it like the government is stealing our money. You do realize that taxes go towards things like healthcare for our neighbors, infrastructure, defense, regulations that keep us safe, food edible, air breathable, right?
-
And I simply point out that it is my money coming back to me. I am not taking from someone else, but that is how it is portrayed.
-
It's removing healthcare for children, food assistance, underfunding education, leaving infrastructure in shambles, etc.. plus this was done via adding to the debt, not because we were running a surplus or something.
-
It has helped create a stronger economy and more employment. Funding for those other areas have not decreased
-
The economic trend hasn't changed, this is still rolling from the slow climb of many years. There hasn't been a spike in the economy (and the markets are way more volatile) nor employment. Wages are still suppressed.
-
As far as funding deceases, the word is "yet" but they've already starting talking about spending cuts because of the deficit (which they added $1.5 trillion to). They are creating a crisis and using it as an excuse

NEVER FORGET: Not one Republican suggested cutting Trumps million dollar golfing trips before cutting funds for the elderly, vets and children
-
You mean similar to how they cut Obama’s?

You're quite dim

Typical response when you got nothing.
