Happy to stop by the Burnsville branch of US Bank-- recently, they gave 60,000 employees a $1,000 bonus thx to historic tax reform, & raised their minimum wage to $15 for hourly employees. That’s more hard-earned money in more hard-working taxpayers’ paychecks each month! #MN02pic.twitter.com/0fdx8yLr8B

Planning to meet any of the thousands of soybean farmers in #MN02 who are getting hit with a price drop from the retaliatory sanctions from China?

Those farmers are also their own bosses so they wouldn't be coerced into fawning to keep their jobs.

And you, Jason, voted for the tax scam that has the SALT provision that is going to hurt your constituents and eliminates the personal exemption which will also hurt. Thx for screwing us for the upteenth time.

Great - Since Jan. 26th Dow Jones has fallen 3,000 points thanks to Donald Trump and his trade wars. This has wiped out $3 trillion in stock market value. You wouldn’t know if you’ve been watching Fox News.

Mike, DOW on Jan 20 2017: 19,732 DOW today: 24,070 (as of now) Are you sure this is the metric you want to use? Cherry picking just the last 3 months makes your argument look disingenuous. Time will tell if the trade decisions work long term.

If you ever actually read your comments or the tweets addressed to you, which I highly doubt, you'll be glad to learn I just can't follow you any longer. You only use social media as a GOP propaganda machine- one-way communication. Similiar to how you 've chosen to represent MN02

A $1000 bonus which is taxed at a higher rate is supposed to cover their increases in health insurance? We aren't falling for it... or you.

I'm not sure I understand what you mean by "A $1,000 bonus which is taxed at a higher rate." . . . taxed at a higher rate than what?

I was thinking the same thing. What’s the tax rate before the $1000 vs after? This is just an inflammatory statement that gets thrown out with no basis in fact. Unless @clborn1234 has a link to back this up?

Actually, unless a bonus kicks the recipient into a higher tax bracket, it is taxed at the exact same rate as regular pay.

        Replying to @clborn1234 @westerntc55 and

@westerntc55 is correct. The taxes you owe on a bonus are no differnet than taxes owed on regular pay. The IRS may withhold from the paycheck at a higher rate, but when actually filing taxes, this is balanced out.

Corporate America's fascination with stock buybacks has come at a real cost to American workers. Instead of focusing on short term rewards @bonus $150-$750, companies should make long term investments by retraining workers, ramping up benefits and boosting wages. #TaxScam
