Truely a generational tax cut that will allow all Americans an opportunity for upward mobility. We in #mn02 thank you for allowing us to keep more of our hard earned money. Merry Christmas!

Like almost all of your constituents, I’m not wealthy enough for this bill to benefit me or my family. I am insulted by your pretending otherwise.

Why do you NOT care that 90% of the country's wealth is sitting in the hands of the top 1%? You're pure evil to vote for this bill.https://www.vox.com/policy-and-politics/2017/12/19/16786006/looting-of-america …

According to
@TaxPolicyCenter, on average all income tax groups will benefit from a tax cut#MN02#TaxReform#TaxCuts -
1) Tax cuts on the middle class expire in 10 years; for the rich they're permanent. 2) This bill creates incentives for business to ship jobs overseas. 3) The $1+ trillion deficit will force steep cuts in social programs. It's a bad deal for everyone earning less than $100,000.
-
1) Cuts are "temporary" only to comply w/ budget rules. They will be extended, as Bush's were. 2) How? Companies will move money here to take advantage of tax holiday. 3) 3% revenue loss need not mean "steep cuts" in programs. Lower earners benefit most:https://www.cato.org/blog/senate-tax-bill-middle-receives-largest-cuts …
-
1) Why aren't the cuts for the top 1% 'temporary'? Because that is the GOP's true constituency. 2) Like this: http://www.motherjones.com/kevin-drum/2017/12/the-republican-tax-bill-will-send-more-jobs-overseas/ … 3) Yes it will, thanks to PAYGO: https://www.politico.com/story/2017/11/30/tax-bill-spending-cuts-gop-congress-274337 …
-
1) There are no permanent individual cuts for "top 1 percent." (Only permanent cut is on *corporate* side). Repubs want all cuts permanent. Because no future Congress will allow increase on Middle Class, smart way to ensure their permanency.

Read the rest of the replies. By 2027, effective tax rates will have gone UP for those earning $75,000 or less. So it's a puzzle why you support this, unless you earn more.

Out of curiosity, what's the CBO score for this bill that you just voted for?

This is not relief, this is a handout to the extremely wealthy at the expense of ordinary people. We are commited to ensuring that you lose the next election and we are going to be pushing your replacement to work to repeal this bill and make the wealthy pay their fair share.

The tax bill is expected to increase the deficit by more than $1 trillion. Channeling money to the rich at the expense of the middle class.
