I agree w/Kate. Could Rep Lewis' staff present at least bullet points of issues raised by the random constituents lucky enough to be called?

This is a great idea! It could demonstrate that the call was truly random. And could show 600,000+ uninvited constituents where you stand

Another idea, how many people were actually invited. Not a voicemail left, but actually got heard the invite in advance?

@itpro3 said 67: 35 DFLers & 32 Independent Republicans. But I don't know how he knows & party affiliation is odd, given MS 200.02 Subd 17.

Perhaps someone from Rep. Lewis' office (or from @CD2MNGOP) could elaborate a bit. Seems like @kkaliszewski was on the call. #MN02

Of 350K+ voters in #MN02 Rep Lewis can only directly interact w/fraction, but access for those who want it shouldn't be random or burdensome

I hope Rep Lewis realizes we're not "out to get him". We have real concerns, questions, ideas. Hearing these & explaining himself is his job

Why wasn't this publicized? It wasn't announced in advanced w/a number to call. Rep. Lewis' staff really dropped the ball on this. Unless...

why are you so afraid of meeting constituents in person? You're not the host of a radio show anymore. Don't screen us out.

"telephone town hall" is oxymoronic; like a rep who doesn't hold real town halls and claims to stand up for #MN02.

The makeup of the 67 was 35 Dems & 32 GOPers. Since 09, Dems avg'd 17 townhalls and GOPers avg'd 21 townhalls for that recess.

Two wrongs don't make a right. And our last Rep was also a republican who avoided town halls like the plague.
