You’re also for leaving out people with pre existing conditions...so you’re the complete opposite. There has to some some middle ground and you’re not working very hard to find it.

You ruined what was working...

Medicare works at a much lower administrative $ than other health care in the US. Urban/rural it works. Most other countries have it at much lower cost as % of GDP, with better live birth rates and with longer life expectancy. ACA can work. Multiple ways to get everyone covered.

Medicare for all seems like a logical plan that addresses most of the pain points for healthcare consumers. It seems like you are working against the best interests of your constituents with every vote.
-
It will also require a 5 fold increase in health care spending per year (750ish Billion to 3.5 Trillion) and will require and effective tripling of current tax rates....yeah fuck that.https://www.axios.com/medicare-for-all-bernie-sanders-federal-cost-33-trillion-study-23251fc1-1888-4d4b-964d-21cacf703bf1.html …

From your own article: "Worth noting: All told, "Medicare for All" would actually slightly reduce the total amount we pay for health care. But the plan would increase the share of that cost paid through taxes, rather than through insurance premiums or out of pocket. "

Every developed nation but us has some form of universal coverage. They all get better outcomes for a low % of GDP.

Or we could just go with what you voted for last year and folks with pre existing conditions will see their cost skyrocket and the elderly and poor not afford medical cost. Thankfully soon you will be voted out and have no vote.

Every other developed nation has some form of universal coverage. All have better outcomes for a lower % of GDP than the US's current system. Also someone who serves at the pleasure of the president is only giving one answer if they want to keep their job.
