Tax reform is lowering individual rates, providing relief to all taxpayers and helping middle class families save. And the Democratic narrative that our tax cuts were for the top 1% is completely false—as the “top 20% of Americans will pay 87% of the income tax in 2018." #MN02

$1.5 trillion added to the deficit, real income has fallen (y'all promised companies would give raises), most people get so little they don't even notice it. You can't tax cut your way to prosperity, it only helps the rich.

Then we get to the other side of the equation y'all conveniently don't talk about: what services to the 80% are you going to cut? My grandmother's health care? Food for children? Veterans benefits?

This is what your tax "reform" has done to our country: exploding national debt. What you did was fiscal incompetence and malpractice. #MN02https://twitter.com/nytimes/status/1022459288151883778?s=19 …

Percentages are an interesting study. The top 20% earners will pay 87% of the nations taxes. However, tax as a percentage of their income at most 15.6%. For the bottom 80% earners taxes are 48% of their income. Yes they pay more, but it is a smaller percentage of their income.

#GOPTaxScam gives 83% of the tax cuts to the richest 1% by 2027. 92 million middle-class families (57% of us) will pay MORE in taxes after the temporary individual cuts expire. Corps and pass-throughs get permanent breaks though...

From that very same article: "the share of taxes paid by the top 5% will rise despite the fact that people in it were the largest beneficiaries of the overhaul’s tax cut, both in dollars and percentages." Did you even read it?

If the top 20% pay 87% of income taxes that is a clear sign you have an income distribution problem. As my representative I respectfully request you address income inequality. Thank you.
