It's great to see our economy continue to grow and provide new opportunities! @MarketWatch reports: Jobless claims drop 5,000 to 210,000 in mid-October, stick near 50-year low.https://www.marketwatch.com/story/jobless-claims-drop-5000-to-210000-in-mid-october-2018-10-18 …

I wonder if it has anything to do with the amount of people working two jobs due to stagnant wages?

The economy is in the best place it's been. in a long time thanks to Trump's tax cuts and supportive policies. Vote republican!

More and more jobs just like this administration promised! We need to support the policies like the tax reform that are helping our economy grow so much and so many jobs are being created. #VoteRed.

@TheDemocrats will say that’s why we need more immigrants — to fill the jobs. Better idea— kick the able bodied citizens off the dole which will give them incentive to work. Less persons on government assistance will promote independent living and save $$$ for state.

Now more jobs than workers. Where are the Michigan workers?? There are many physically capable unemployed persons enjoying food stamps, Medicaid without having to work. We have a 30 yr old man across the street from us, JUST got a PART time job. He enjoys a lot of video games😞

Really pushing the economic tweets, Willie. I guess when you spend a couple years hiding from West Michigan voters, getting fat on tax dollars, you need a way to say "look at what I did for you". You haven't done a thing but hold hands with Mike Pence.

Just because jobs increase doesn't mean wages have. Why are you not talking about how are wages remain the same? Or the fact any slight increase is offset with the higher cost of living? Or are we nothing but 3rd graders who can't understand? #VoteBlue

Trump and the Republicans have severed a critical fiscal connection: the one between strong economies and lower budget deficits. https://www.washingtonpost.com/outlook/2018/10/17/trump-republicans-have-broken-connection-between-strong-economies-lower-budget-deficits/?utm_term=.c379d7c185b2 … pic.twitter.com/e0NFBZdW13

Still thinking about the tax cut. Here's a wonky point: the TCJA was a fiscal stimulus -- very badly designed for that purpose, but it did throw money at (mostly rich) people. How would we expect the economics of such a stimulus to work? 1/
