If the allegations are found to be true, or if the Administration continues to refuse to comply with reasonable Congressional requests for information, I will take the grave step of calling for a formal authorization of an impeachment investigation. /5
This investigation should look into the President's obstruction so that we can get to the bottom of what happened and have transparency for the American people. /6

I hope the allegations ARE true and they end his presidency but nice diplomacy there.
But both he and his lawyer have already admitted it. Why continue to question the validity if they both admitted it multiple times?
