I disagree. We must do what’s right, regardless of what the Senate will do. Trump was not exonerated by the Mueller Report. The report is clear that Trump attempted to obstruct justice. Mueller would have indicted Trump if not for the opinion of the OLC. #ImpeachmentInquiryNow

I just spoke to one of your aides and request that you support an impeachment inquiry now. This gives you more leverage in court. While I respect “the process”, the damage the current occupant of the White House has done and will continue to do must be stopped.

And we should do that through an impeachment inquiry. Post haste.

This is disappointing. We know the Senate will never vote for removal. To wait for that to happen means not pursuing justice and not holding people accountable for their actions. We need to stand up for our principles. Not doing so, only makes our democracy weaker.

I spent over 20 hours last fall knocking on doors for your campaign (while pregnant!), in large part because I thought a Democratic House would hold Trump accountable for all his crimes and corruption. I’m so, so disappointed in this response.

Did you seriously just “Trust the Process”-away impeachment?? This isn’t a basketball game. It isn’t about a political calculation. It’s about right and wrong. So disappointed.
