In addition to throwing money at the problem - we need to figure out who is getting the money that is currently being spent. $750 a night? Why not fill up a Red Roof in with the migrants.
We are a nation of laws, but we are also a nation of values. I served our country because I believe in those values. What's happening at our border goes against our values. I am taking a stand and voting for emergency funding to help address this humanitarian crisis.

Thank you. In addition to addressing the current humanitarian crisis, we also need to hold those responsible for the Zero Tolerance policy and those jailing children seeking asylum accountable. I agree that the core values of this nation are at stake.

I get very confused. Very sad CNN story of death 24 month old crossing. Read full story, our laws and values should include helping others that respect and maintain values. Sad at lost lives for trying to cut the line!
