I remember leaving the Air Force, returning to school to gain marketable skills, & then transitioning to civilian life. What these colleges are doing goes against our American values, & I’m proud to co-lead this legislation that will protect our veterans.https://www.careereducationreview.net/2019/06/reps-shalala-houlahan-cisneros-and-moulton-introduce-bill-to-protect-veterans-education-benefits-from-predatory-for-profits/ …

Seems simple...bipartisan? Agree, regular student loans need not be a part of predatory for profit education. If any school is worth the tuition they should front the cost and then pay school back with the skills learned at the great jobs they promised.

When I got out of the Air Force I found a school to get my A&P license. I asked how much tuition was and they said, "Are you military"? I said yes and they immediately said $30,000 which was the full amount of my G.I. Bill. Once we're in there, the school and the FAA make it

hard for us to pass. They don't care if we pass because after a certain point they have their moneyand quickly fill our seat with another body. Long story short, I'm $40,000 in debt. Please keep up the good fight.

How about removing them fringe eligibility for Fed Student Loans. Is their lobby that powerful?
