I’ve twice voted to condemn such bigotry. I’ve said the same in print and in person. We must hold our leaders to a higher standard. And we as a country must be better. 2/2

Using 9/11 for political gains is unacceptable. Whether it’s attacks on our Jewish or Muslim communities (or any others) — tropes are hateful, atrocious, and dangerous. All of this language endangers people and should never be tolerated. 1/
