THREAD: Frustratingly, @GovTimWalz continues to adopt a one-size-fits-all policy when it comes to reopening our state. Border towns like Luverne and Minnesota’s vast rural counties and areas do not resemble Minneapolis and St. Paul...and they should not be treated the same.

It is time for our government to target protection to residents in nursing homes and those most vulnerable, who comprise 90% of Minnesota‘s COVID-19 deaths, and allow the rest of our residents to take their own precautions. MN must reopen safely, responsibly and promptly. (END)

I’m from SW MN and proud of our Governor. We need to protect those with diabetes, RA, hypertension, MS, and cancer patients, people I know. If our area residents/employees would wear masks we may open sooner, many don’t. We avoid Sioux Falls! Stop complaining. Find solutions.

How about the vulnerable quarantine, and not ruin everyone else's lives? Why should everyone suffer for a few? If I was vulnerable, I wouldn't want my family's lives to stop because I was at risk. I'd protect myself best I can, not lock up everyone I knew and bankrupt them.
