I’m disappointed to learn of the layoffs in Sleepy Eye. Del Monte must follow the WARN Act providing workers time for adjustment and retraining opportunities. I've contacted @USDOL for assistance & Governor's Office to ask the Rapid Response Team to assist dislocated workers.

Tariffs were supposed to help us win multiple trade wars. If economy is doing great then why are people being laid off? Republicans are lying to MN farmers and labor workers to stay in power instead of honestly addressing the issues. Dare to challenge the

Immigration policy at work here. Scare seasonal workers and they stay away from Del Monte. Del Monte suddenly has an economic model that just doesn’t work. Cheap immigrant labor supports a lot of American industry. We should be welcome them.
