Four years ago today, I was declared in remission after repurposing Rituxan for Immune Thrombocytopenia (ITP). My #raredisease should have killed me, and I am VERY lucky to be alive.

My hope is that in 2019, Congress will see what
@RepGusBilirakis and I have been discussing for the last few years: repurposing drugs for rare diseases saves lives. Let's promote clinical trials for treatments already on the market for another indication.#OPENActShow this thread
