Dental care IS healthcare but even the best dental plans demand enormous upfront payments for anything more than routine cleanings and fillings. Wisdom tooth extraction is almost 2k with my dental plan. And so I've had wisdom teeth bothering me for over 5 years now.

Is this it? Raising awareness in all fine and well, as is "access" to dental care. This bill seems fine but not good enough to actually help people in need. Even with dental insurance a root canal can cost $600-1k. Now I may have "access" to care but I don't have "access" to 1k
