Mr. Bilirakis is there any plane to extend Space-A travel to spouses or dependents? It would still cost taxpayers zero. Thank you for the hard work you do for all veterans.
I am proud my SPACE-A legislation has been signed into law as part of the NDAA. It allows Veterans with a 100% service-connected disability to use a benefit to travel on military aircraft when there is extra space onboard. It is the 8th of my bills to become law this Congress.

It doesn’t allow my wife ( Caregiver) to fly also this doesn’t make sense please get this right or its no good allow my wife to fly also can’t do it without her. I’m sure there are many other 100% DAV that feel the same way. Correct this please.

The problem is that only the veteran can fly & only in CONUS. So if I travel by myself, its great but we're being treated as 2nd class to retirees & active duty who were or are not wounded during service/battle. Disappointing. I am sure this was not intent.

That’s great for vets wanting 2 travel. How about vets who want 2live w/out VA abuse? Seems 2 b more focus on small things like travel when there is space avail rather than holding va accountable. Can’t give kudos when VA continues their abuse & congress ignores vets pleas 4 help
