When the 1917 Russian revolution happened, it was required to disband the police and replace it by vigilante communist sympathizers that made sure that the revolution succeeded through purging by brute force, arrest, imprisonments, and executions.
Defunding the police won’t solve any problems and only poses an extraordinary risk to our citizens who depend on society’s most basic governmental service of protecting life and property.
