Agreeing that communities should have input abt the discharges of Lake O, but drainage isn't the only issue with the ecosystem, thus our economy. Big farms being allowed to dump their run offs of pesticides is where the most harm is done. Please address that issue also.
I sent a comment to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers regarding proposed changes to the Lake Okeechobee Regulation Schedule. I urged the Corps to consider input from local counties and requested restraint when lowering lake levels. See the full letter below.pic.twitter.com/94BySBpIJn
