I am a gun owner and collector. But should someone be allowed the right to sell a weapon to a violent offender on probation or mental patient who has violent behavior? I do not see any upside to this. Especially long term when one of these sales ends up as the next mass shooting

I suggest you rechk your numbers... FBI stats 2016, 15,070 total homicides, 11,004 w/firearms, 7,105 w/handguns..... Statista 2017, 7,032 homicides w/handguns, 1,691 w/knives.... Now, car accident victims are 40,000+ the last few years...per Nat'l Safety Council.....
