Call it by its name, the Bipartisan Background Checks Act of 2019. The bill mandates background checks be performed on all gun sales, including firearm purchases made privately, whether it be online or at gun shows. Senseless? No.
VOTE UPDATE: Democrats in the House just passed H.R. 8, which guts the Second Amendment and does absolutely nothing to prevent incidents of mass violence. I voted NO on this senseless, politically-motivated bill.
