    Shocked and devastated over the horrific mass shooting in . Praying for the victims and their families and all our fellow New Yorkers who have been impacted. Hate and gun violence have no place in our state and country. These heinous and senseless acts must end!

    Entrusting the supply of baby formula to just four companies is a threat to our economic security and public health. That’s why we must mobilize all available resources of the federal government to end this shortage and take the steps to ensure this could never happen again. 3/3

    Thanks to for coordinating. We also visited nearby businesses to talk about how they can improve security. In addition, I’m working to help secure a visa for the mother of Zhiwen’s wife so that she can travel to NY from China to attend the funeral. 2/2

    I, along with visited the restaurant where Zhiwen Yan worked. He was the delivery worker recently shot & killed. We facilitated a meeting w/ the restaurant’s owner & to discuss safety concerns & met with detectives investigating the case. 1/2

    Devastated to learn of the shooting today in that took the life of one woman & left another in critical condition. is still looking for the perpetrator. Hope the person responsible is apprehended. Must do all we can to keep our neighborhoods safe.
