Curious about motives behind AZ Rep. Gosar's bill this week. "We want more drilling in our national parks," said no constituent, ever.

no, but by removing the updated 9B rules, it encourages new oil exploration and infrastructure development.

There should be no drilling in National Parks. Period. They are for preservation, Not multi use.
-
Weakening any protection on National Parks in the slightest way is unacceptable to anyone but profiteers.

You're arguing semantics. It allows more drilling by lowering requirements. Putting a pig in a dress doesn't make it a lady.

There shouldn't be ANY drilling in national parks. Or any other activities that harm the land, air, or water.
