My bill eliminates the Optional Practical Training (OPT) visa which has grown by 400% in the last decade at great cost to American students, workers and pensioners.

Corporations get a 15% tax break (no FICA) for hiring OPT recipients, creating financial incentive to hire foreign students. Less than 50% of U.S. STEM grads are landing jobs in STEM. FICA fund loses $2 billion per year due to OPT. We need to start putting Americans first.

So there really is no shortage of American STEM workers as we've been told. Its yet another under the radar government program that undermines American college students, most with education debt to pay. Unbelievable!

American kids should have good jobs that have been taken by Indians on H-1b. One problem. The Indians have monopolized the recruiting businesses. They always find Americans unqualified. Displaced Americans with highly technical skills and education have lost jobs, and careers.
