How could the situation with Rayshard Brooks have been "de-escalated?" This isn't what we need. We need police that more effectively handle already violent confrontations and who have the equipment to do it. This "JUSTICEAct" seems like a capitulation to the mob.

This doesn't do enough. Not nearly enough. It's a makeshift bandaid on a wound that needs surgery. It's tape over the mouths of Black lives and protestors, meant to shut us up while you pat yourself on the back and say "see? We did something" when it's nothing.

Your milquetoast approach to government is history. DEFUND these programs. STOP CHOKEHOLDS. BAN NO KNOCK WARRANTS. Do it at the federal level and make it LAW. Change policing to SERVE, not subdue. The time for further research and analysis are over.
