In the US, nearly 1 in 4 rural households can't connect to the internet, & it's often too slow & too expensive for those who do have access. Along w/ @WhipClyburn, I'm leading bipartisan legislation to expand rural broadband service & keep folks connected.https://bit.ly/2TLxhBV

Michigan had the opportunity to expand broadband throughout communities but instead legislators allowed broadband providers to cherry pick what customers they wanted. We tried to tell them this was wrong and shortsighted but it did not matter.
