Since we're on the topic, when can Americans that's not wealthy and well connected expect to have Cubas lung cancer vaccine? How is it we pay so much for our healthsystem yet get our a*ses kicked as a nation when it comes to developing cures for what's killing most Americans?
I was alarmed to read that the budget plan proposes an $897 million cut to the National Cancer Institute’s budget, plus more than $1 billion in cuts to institutes that do medical research.

I was not surprised to hear a response of, “Tough luck” from the Secretary. Need to pay for those tax cuts somehow. Nothing else seems to matter to this administration. This HHS budget proposal is Armageddon for science as well as the well being of seniors and disabled people.
