Congressman Fred Keller Retweeted Steve Scalise

The Paycheck Protection Program's success is a great indicator of the incredible desire for small businesses to remain open and keep people employed. By disgracefully standing in the way of its replenishment, the left may have closed-down many of these hardworking folks for good.https://twitter.com/SteveScalise/status/1251905315714609155 …

Reminder ↓ Republicans tried to replenish the Paycheck Protection Program a week before funds ran out—no gimmicks, no games. But Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi said NO. Now—because of them—workers and small businesses could lose everything. Some may never recover. Shameful.

Chuck & Nancy said no, and that's it? Why do 2 people have so much control over our economy? This isn't politics anymore, so stop playing their game. The GOP is not known for having a Spine. Someone in the GOP better grow a spine soon, or Y'all will be looking for a new job too.

Reminder. In the last bill hard hit NY got $12,000 per capita while other states got tax much as $200,000 per capita. Democrats are trying to stop that type of inequality Steve @😡

When the Paycheck Protection Program needs protection to assure it goes to small business it needs oversight and a lot more than GOP oversight.

When this next round does get passed, you need to make sure that ACTUAL small businesses get access to the loans....no loopholes.

Gentlemen, it was abused by Dems before passing, by big banks in distribution and by big national chains sucking up PPP $ before small biz could get approved. Big banks required so much documentation not specified in law or application, but only required by truly small biz?pic.twitter.com/S0nobmSqjx
