The natural gas extraction industry is a major source of methane emissions, which severely increases global warming. There are problems with residual waste management, causing pollution and damage to health and ecosystems. There are also myriad abandoned wells in Pennsylvania.

The gas industry brought in people from out of state, which increased crime, raised rents, ruined roads, and they have caused numerous environmental issues. Only a few have benefitted from the industry. Even the royalty checks if we get them, are a joke. #fuckyou

Freddy, Fracking has not been good for PA, despite a few short term jobs. Mii I do of the profit ended up with just a very few corporations. Since you helped tax-exempt them, we didn’t get anything but the cleanup.
