For me, the ersatz return little to the farm communities and much to the 1%. Six almonds + emulsifiers, 5 cents of oats in fluids = high margins for corporations. A gallon of pure milk means the world to a dairy farmer.

People are dying because they can’t afford insulin, but this is definitely a good use of your time

I can be sympathetic when labels are genuinely misleading, but no one is confused as to what soy milk and almond milk are. They're not even stocked in the same space. This is ridiculous propaganda on behalf of the dairy lobby. I hope they paid well for it at least.

Dairy Pride Act
- proud of cruelty?
Instead of defending the correct labeling why not start defending animal rights while showing the real horror behind the curtain of lovely happy cows farming?

I’m pretty sure the word almond gives a pretty good clue to what it is. You’re better off trying to label whole milk as “cow milk” to avoid all confusion.
