Only Republicans talk about defunding the police…because only Republicans HAVE defunded the police, when they all voted against Biden’s RESCUE Plan, which REFUNDED cops, firefighters, EMTs, etc in states and cities ravaged by Covid.

It’s wrong terminology. It’s not defund the police. It’s stop making them do things they aren’t supposed to do. We need mental health units, homeless liaison units truly affordable housing, universal healthcare including mental health. But that doesn’t fit in your vision.
