’s decision to not accept any more refugees for initial resettlement in Texas is deeply un-American and wrong. Immigration is not a zero-sum game. We are a nation of immigrants, and refugees make our state economy and communities like El Paso stronger.

I have no problem helping people,but unfortunately right now we are not in the position to help them. We must help our homeless,single mothers,single fathers our vets and senior citizens first. We have our own crisis here that must be addressed first.
