Insurers must inform people purchasing Short Term Limted Duration plans may not meet all their requirements and direct them to ACA. It sounds like a battle for the healthy people to buy into the ACA to keep rates down vs STLDI which may meet persons needs between coverage.

I'm concerned with the cost of said insurance even after monthly premiums have been paid. This is a major issue when it comes to being able to afford basic necessities on a monthly basis. Medicare for all is not the answer, but we have to find a solution.

It is concerning that the marketing may be deceptive, but those policies at least provide Americans with an option. In my experience all insurance policy marketing is deceptive, including the ACA. It's your job to fix the deception for America not whine about it.

The Obama administration ok’d STLDIs for three months. So their value as low cost plans for people who could not afford expensive ACA plans was acknowledged even by the authors of the ACA.
