BDS is a peaceful protest response started by Israelis to promote humanitarian behavior and to police this response is to abandon the freedom of conscience of our people. This is a hurtful and disappointing capitulation.
Israel is ally America must defend against efforts — such as the BDS movement — that seek to delegitimize its people, state, and supporters. I agree. It reinforces the right wing idea that you can’t criticize the policies of the sovereign state of Israel without being inherently anti-Semetic. Which is not conducive to peace in the region.
