I agree with you. We must also advance the technology and utilize the 98.5% of the commercial fuel that isn’t consumed and instead sits as waste. We need breeder reactor technologies.

National security: do you mean nuclear weapons & bombs? Please clean up the Hanford Site & push for treaties instead. Reactors: please come up with a solution for all of our current nuclear waste before building any new reactors.
