This was due to the @GOP changing the kiddie tax laws, which caused the Gold Star children to have their survivor benefits taxed at rates similar to trusts, as opposed to the old way which was the parents rate. Thank you @RepElaineLuria for trying to reverse this rule.

That's the billionaire tax Deform the GOP & @realDonaldTrump passed for you. Just wait till the whole darn bill kicks in full swing in a year or so. Alongside the trade disputes, we're in for a major economic catastrophe.

While this is awesome, no star families are hit with big tax increases thanks to the orange buffoon. When do they get a break?

Good! It’s reprehensible what this administration is & has done to basically anyone who isn’t rich & able to serve Trump in some unlawful way.

As a Gold Star Mother I would like to be a guest there when that happens.

Please talk about this everywhere as the senate will either refuse to bring it to the floor or vote no!

The only way congress will ever take action on anything ever again is to maintain its power of oversight. It needs to impeach the president, NOW #ImpeachmentInquiryNow

Thank goodness for the blue wave. Without it, Gold Star families would continue to get hammered.

Had anyone had time to read and deliberate over the tax bill, we would not need this corrective action.
