I will agree with your first part of your statement. Whether Americans will be safer with the passage of this sham Appropriation is at dispute. Just glad that this Appropriation expires on September 30. Even AOC voted against its passage.
The last six weeks reinforced what Virginians know to be true – shutdowns are unacceptable, unnecessary, and uncalled for. I was proud to support a bill that pays our federal workers and invests in critical programs that keep America safe, healthy, and strong.

Exactly how does it do that? Federal Workers sign a waiver when they are hired about shutdowns. They get paid more than the private sector, and get better benefits. They never suffered under Obama like the rest of America did!!!
