@RepElaineLuria would it be possible broaden the legislation to ensure that all members of the military are allowed to continue to receive pay during a shutdown? Or does that need to be on a case-by-case basis?
In her full press statement it says that the Coast Guard is the only service branch currently running without funding during the shutdown because it falls under the Homeland Security Department. Hope that helps!
